Hexathlon
We are now 4 weeks into the Autumn series, and athletes are racking up points. This weekend saw runners across the East region racing mainly longer distances. Bure Valley AC hosted the Banningham 10 mile, Sandringham hosted a half marathon and 5k. Ipswich Half Marathon took place and in the capital runners pounded the streets over 10k in London's Vitality 10,000. This weekend also saw the Berlin Marathon major. All this means that the league is spreading out. Neil Adams (North Norfolk Beach Runners, V45) is one of the first to reach 6 race results. With a score of 4,115 pts and an average age grade of 71.4%, still yet to play his boost he is in a strong position to challenge for the series win. David Crotch (Norwich Road Runners, V60) also with 6 results is in 2nd place with 3,731pts. Piers Arnold (City of Norwich AC, V35), sitting in 7th position with 2,904 pts, with a boost to play and only 4 races to his name must also be a contender worth mentioning. Upcoming Races
